Self-inflicted jinxing

I take back my Floyd Landis comment from yesterday. Apparently I can't run with a busted ass, and believe me I've foolishly been trying to.

That's it for now. I'm gonna wise up and go swimming before I set myself back even more. Take it easy.

VERY sorry to hear about the setback, Mario. Hopefully this will be a "quickie" injury, and you can get back to this insane hobby/obsession while it's still hotter than hell.

Thanks for the comment. Seems you've come to a little bump in the road. A guy who used to coach me said, "to be a serious runner, you have to treat injuries serious." Don't know if that helps or not. Good luck with it.

My unsolicited advice is that, long-term, it sounds like you need to strenghten those irritating little muscles in and around your butt, hips, etc. That's right, the dreaded term "core strengthening" has surfaced again.
